Wow! It got up to 55 degrees today. When Ace got home around 5pm I was ready to go. I had my leathers on already and my bike was fired up when he pulled around the corner. Man does it have a nice rumble. I love the sound of my new Vance & Hines Big Shot Staggered's that I had put on while in Sturgis last year. They are loud. They're exactly what I wanted. I wanted people to know I was there. Most people in their cages don't even see you on your bike, but they can definitely hear me! :-)
We just went for a short ride down to Lolo and turned right on Hwy 12 and went a short ways down and then turned back and came home. A 24 mile round trip. Boy I wish I'd gone out earlier in the day by myself.
But I decided it was best to go on my first ride of the season with my baby Ace no matter how short it was!
Ace's bike sure is loud. He has a 2001 Roadking. Ace just had a lot of work done on it at Shine's Performance. I told Ace that I actually need to let him get about a 1/2 mile ahead of me because his bike's so loud. It was cool to see him back on his bike again. He hadn't rode since last August when we got back from Sturgis. I'll tell the story later. But basically his bike ended up sitting in the garage at the end of the season last year and then in the shop for the winter. He just got it back about two weeks ago. There is a story and I'll share it later. For now I gotta go and have some lasagna with my baby! :) Ending miliage 20744.

These dealer pics made my decision to buy a little easier! When buying a bike from a dealer or a used bike from an individual, get high resolution photos sent to you so you can blow them up. You need to see all the details! Or better yet, take an experienced rider friend to see the bike in person!
